Codex Alimentarius is a looming threat to your health and health freedom. If you care about natural health care, you need to know about Codex Alimentarius.

According the official documentation, "The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme." Allegedly, "the main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations."
Unfortunately, the stated purposes of the organization actually work against the natural health industry. They intend to all but eliminate vitamin & mineral supplements, destroy organic farming principles and promote the use of pharmaceutical prescription drugs. Natural medicine will become a thing of the past, as will our health as a country.

Eight U.S. companies, including giant DuPont Co., agreed yesterday to virtually eliminate a harmful chemical used to make Teflon from all consumer products coated with the ubiquitous nonstick material....
PFOA -- a key processing agent in making nonstick and stain-resistant materials -- has been linked to cancer and birth defects in animals and is in the blood of 95 percent of Americans, including pregnant women. It has also been found in the blood of marine organisms and Arctic polar bears...
William Bailey III, who was born in 1981 with multiple birth defects while his mother, Sue, was working with the chemical at the Parkersburg plant, said he will "be watching" to see if the chemical giant complies with the new agreement.
"They're trying to save face," said Bailey, who is suing DuPont over his birth defects.

Our hopes for the vine health & healing

At first, my wife & i decided to name our holistic health care business after my web design company (vinemultimedia.com). We are both holistic practitioners and loved the theme of 'the vine' as found in the 15th chapter of John in the scriptures.

Now, our vision has become a little broader. We want to make the vine health & healing into a non-profit organization that is dedicated exclusively to healing God's children. Our approach will be in 2 main areas: first, increasing public awareness on the benefits and methods of healthy living, and second, providing holistic health care at no-charge to those who are unable to afford the care for themselves.

We encourage you to take a look around and check back often. We are still in the process of planning and obtaining the necessary support to fund such an operation.
